TESTIMONIALS FOR
LEEDA'S COTTAGES
Real experiences from real guests.
“Amazing place, amazing host, amazing island, I don’t even know where to start. Charming little cottage proved perfect for our family of four, the extra bedroom in the living room was perfect as our children wanted to stay in separate rooms. The bathrooms are quite large, comfortable ... and maintained perfectly clean on a daily basis. The beautiful terrace not only offers an amazing view, but also has a medium swimming pool in the garden, which even made us choose to spend some evenings at home with no regrets. Located in a quiet area on a small road, it is still easily accessible and well located to visit the island. The house itself is surrounded by fruit trees and even with the occasional rooster sounding the alarm early in the morning. A true piece of paradise. The host was amazing in every aspect, providing a warm welcome and checking in on us every once in a while to make sure everything was to our taste and even offering fresh fruit from the farm in the mornings. The advice regarding the places to visit and depending on the weather, which ones would be best, was invaluable, and the overall experience really made us live through the warm Zakynthian hospitality. Thank you ... for welcoming us in a way that we never expected, and for truly making this holiday unforgettable for all four of us.”

“Leeda's cottage was a great place from which to enjoy the island of Zakynthos. It is very tastefully decorated - rustic yet modern, and the pool and garden were amazing. Dionysis was very helpful and generous - everyday he brought fresh fruit and vegetables and the kids enjoyed picking peppers from the small plot at the end of the garden. The house and pool were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided whenever we needed them. A car is recommended as the cottage is secluded, but this made the holiday peaceful and it was only a 3 minute drive to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed the barbecue and sitting on the patio and the views!”

This house is very beautiful , located in the middle of nothing is very quiete and at the same time is enough close to Laganas if you are looking for some night life. The owners were very kind and brought us some bread or fruits almost everyday and were always available for any kind of advice.”

“We spent our summer vacation on Zakynthos at the beginning of august and therefore were looking for a nice place to stay outside the touristic madness of high season. We were lucky to find this lovely place, located in a very quiet area surrounded by nothing but olive trees and a little farm, owned by the family. Leeda, the host, was very engaged to help us with all our needs, such as a car rental or mentioning all the places to be around the island. Both the house and the garden were very tidy and well-tended with the pool in perfect condition being an absolute highlight. The house was cleaned daily and the owners surprised us every day with delicious tomatoes, watermelons or eggs from the farm. We would absolutely recommend to spend the holidays at this very special place, even off-season!”

TESTIMONIALS FOR THE VILLAGE
Real experiences from real guests (as posted on TripAdvisor).
"Peaceful retreat amongst the ancient olive trees"
“We spent 4 nights at Leeda's Village in Lithakia, Zakynthos and wished we had more. The two level unit had a a bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchen, dining-room and terrace on the main level, and a loft bedroom with toilet/sink, and terrace with view to the sea upstairs. The idyllic setting included a beautiful inifinity pool, 4 cute puppies, free roaming chickens, and the generous hosting of Dionysios (aka Denis) who would leave garden veggies and fresh eggs out by the pool daily for the guests. The setting is quiet and relaxing. There is a very small rocky beach within walking distance, but we chose to drive to other sandy beaches while exploring the island. Within the olive groves there is a mini-market with a good selection. The taverna across from the market is unremarkable and caters strictly to tourists; but, if you have a car you will find good selections elsewhere on the island. Our favorite beaches were Gerakas and Agios Nikolaos on the Vassilikos Peninsula near the sea turtle refuge, and the small beach of Amoudi (extremely limited parking) near the other Agios Nikolaos at the end of the island nearer the Blue Caves. The boat ride to the caves is interesting, but we did not consider it "a must"”

"Wouldn't stay anywhere else"
“When we arrived, Dionysus, the owner, took us around to show us the gardens. He cut lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers and carried them to our villa - then he brought olive oil, lemons and olives so we could have a Greek salad on our first night in the village. Every day thereafter was equally charming. The accomodations are beautiful and felt true to the architecture and culture of Zakynthos. The pools were immaculate, as were the lush gardens and olive tree orchards. We didn't want to leave. Leeda's Village is away from the hotel strips on the water, away from the crowds and the noise, but close enough to everything we needed not to feel isolated.”
